Too hot to handle, exciting updates, plus a live show in the city!

Thursday night the streets in Summit, New Jersey were rockin with live music and me standing outside in front of The Red Balloon on Springfield Avenue.

I hope your summer is going swimmingly. Mine has been fantastic despite the heat with a broken AC. However, I've encountered a glitch in the planning so I'm rescheduling my Jill Sobule celebration, to the beginning of the year. I'll share the details as soon as everything is confirmed. It will be bigger and better, with special guests and a new venue. I hope to see you there.

In the meantime, if you're disappointed not to see Leslie & The Lovedrops till then, fear not! We are playing a 45-minute set at LIC Bar in Long Island City, Queens, on August 10th, at 3pm. It's a great outdoor spot for summer fun and if it rains, we'll move indoors and have fun!

For the first time I visited my adventurous son Coltrane at his latest digs in Curacao. I had the best time snorkeling, having adventures, and seeing his beautiful life. What a gift!

There are new works on the easel in the studio and new songs being added to the set list every day. Schedule a studio visit and I'll show you what's new and play you a tune!

Stay cool, have fun, and dwell in possibilities!
